Securing skilled workers with international specialists
International skilled workers are a building block when it comes to securing skilled labor. They offer top qualifications and skills, a wide range of language skills and cultural diversity. But how can you find and retain highly qualified international staff?
The Welcome Centers Ulm/Oberschwaben, Nordschwarzwald and Schwarzwald-Baar-Heuberg want to organize a digital barcamp with entrepreneurs, HR managers, international skilled workers and many regional institutions involved in securing skilled workers in order to show you what options are available, what steps are involved and what needs to be considered.
This type of event offers you the opportunity to ‘join in’ on topics within a set framework, ask your questions, exchange experiences and tips and thus achieve more together.
What is a digital barcamp?
A barcamp is an event format that is also called an “un-conference” or “participatory conference” because the program and speakers are not fixed in advance. Anyone who would like to present or discuss a topic can do so in their own sessions or workshops. There are sufficient times and rooms for this, so that many program items can take place in parallel .
At the beginning of the Barcamp there will be an introduction to the procedure, after which all interested parties can present their own program items.
Suggestions for topics can already be submitted by email at welcomecenter@ulm.ihk.de.
Barcamps are an innovative way of exchanging experiences, uncovering potential and gaining new impetus.
Session plan
You also have the opportunity to bring in your own topic and discuss it with our experts and other entrepreneurs. Take advantage of this active exchange opportunity and get exactly the information you need to secure and expand your skilled workforce in the future!
