Just in time for the start of the new semester, the Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts has set up a central contact point for students from Ukraine. “We are expecting more general initial inquiries from students from Ukraine at the start of the semester,” said Science Minister Theresia Bauer in Stuttgart on Tuesday, September 20, 2022. Where can I study which subject? Is the university entrance qualification sufficient to study at a university in Baden-Württemberg? “With the newly established contact point, we want to bundle information on support and assistance offers for Ukrainian students and provide a central point of contact.”
For questions specific to the university or type of higher education institution, the contact point will refer you to the relevant university institutions (e.g. the International Offices) or to the Studierendenwerke. On the contact point’s website, students also tell their own personal stories of fleeing from Ukraine and give tips for a good start at a university in Baden-Württemberg.
